You Don't Need to Know Anything to Begin

Sunaad is not a conservatoire. You don't need prior training, a musical background, or any knowledge of classical music to attend our events or engage with our work. We started exactly here — with curiosity. And that's all you need.

Attend a Performance

The simplest way to experience Sunaad is to come to a performance. Our productions are designed to be accessible — narration and storytelling guide you through the music, and the theatrical elements make the philosophical texts vivid and immediate.

Check our contact page for upcoming events or to be added to our mailing list.

Workshops and Listener Circles

Sunaad periodically offers workshops and listener circles — informal sessions where you can explore a raga, understand a tala, or sit with the text of an Upanishad alongside the music. These sessions are specifically designed for people with no formal training.

School and College Visits

Sunaad is available for performances and talks at schools, colleges, and youth organisations. Our productions like Raag Katha and Swar Katha Upanishad have been particularly well received by student audiences. If you'd like to bring Sunaad to your institution, please reach out.

Volunteer

There are many ways to support Sunaad behind the scenes — from production logistics to digital content, design to outreach. If you'd like to contribute your skills, we'd love to hear from you.

Support Our Work

Sunaad is an NGO. Our work is sustained by the generosity of individuals and organisations who believe in making India's classical heritage accessible. If you'd like to support us financially, please get in touch for details on how to contribute.
